Fire Starter
From the times of the roman empire until the XIX century the most common way to light a fire was the iron fire starter. A piece of high carbon steel knocked against a flint rock produces sparks that can light some dried vegetal fibers. With some more dry material and a little bit of patience you can get a big campfire... Our kit is composed of a steel fire starter, a flint rock and a roll of dried grass (esparto), all inside a linen bag.
