This model is based on several visible representations on the roman conmemorative monuments and in an intact piece found in the Gladiators school of Pompei. It was an instrument used at the amphiteater during the games. One wooden bar gives stiffness and allows the musician to rest his weight on the shoulder. During the battle it was used to transmit orders to the Signum carriers. Made on wood and brass. Diameter of around 1 meter.
