Roman PARMA, round small shield.
The Parma is a roman round shield, which was used by standard-bearers and musicians.. This shield is not arched but flat and of round shape.
Our replica is made of plywood, approx. 1cm thick, and has a shield boss from brass.
In the region of the shield boss, the shield has a circular recess, a wooden handle is attached to the back in full width. The Parma is artfully painted on the front.
