In ancient Rome the image of the phallus, knowm as "Fascinum", was used as a protection against the "evil eye" and all kind of bad luck, painted on the door of houses or gardens, or as a pendant used in necklaces of adults and children. It was also used as a women fertility amulet, specially during the weddings. All our Phalli are made in brass.
